  • Absolutely. Pilates can be an excellent option for clients with injuries because we focus on intentional movement, breath, and alignment. Our instructors complete extensive training, including 2 years of certification, including anatomy and working with special populations. If you're recovering from an injury, your instructor will ask about it before class and help you make safe modifications that work for your body. Don’t worry about slowing anyone down—we’re trained to support a room full of different needs at the same time. It’s one of the things we do best.

  • For noticeable results in strength, posture, and mobility, we recommend coming 2 to 3 times per week. Pilates teaches you how to move smarter, both in class and in daily life or in other workouts. With consistent attendance, you’ll build core strength, body awareness, and better overall movement patterns that stick with you long after you leave the studio.

  • Yes, and it can be incredibly beneficial during and after pregnancy. Pilates supports lower back health, posture, and strength in both the upper and lower body. Instructors are trained to modify movements based on your trimester, and we provide support tools (such as props and pillows) to keep you safe and comfortable. You’ll leave class feeling stronger, more connected to your body, and more prepared for labor, recovery, and parenthood—yes, those car seats get heavy!

  • Yes, with consistency. Pilates works deep stabilizing muscles that help sculpt and lengthen the body. When practiced regularly and with attention to detail, clients often notice a stronger core, better posture, more mobility, and a leaner, more defined shape over time. Want to see for yourself? Start with our two-week unlimited intro offer and feel the difference.

  • One hundred percent, yes. Pilates is for all bodies. At MBS, we work with clients of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels. Our approach is personalized and adaptable—your instructor will meet you where you’re at and help you build from there. We don’t believe in pushing your body beyond its limits. We believe in smart progression, honoring your goals, and making movement feel good again.

  • Comfortable clothes that allow your instructor to see your alignment and form are best (think leggings, tanks, comfy tees). Avoid anything too baggy, and please no zippers or metal that could damage the equipment. Socks with grip bottoms are encouraged, but clean bare feet work too.

  • Just yourself and water! We provide all the equipment and props you'll need in class. Grippy socks are helpful (and available for purchase at the studio if you forget).

  • We recommend starting with our New Client Special and scheduling your included 30-minute private session. It’s the best way to get familiar with the equipment and feel confident going into classes. You can also start with beginner or mixed-level Reformer classes or Mat Pilates—our instructors will guide you every step of the way.

  • You can book classes right from our website or through the MBS Pilates app. Once you purchase your intro offer or membership, you’ll be able to book your first class. If you have any issues, just reach out—we’re here to help!
